Now this is one of the best photo caller ID pics I think I've ever taken with the meager little VGA camera on my phone. Yeah, it's from back when Pastor Joe had the longer, somewhat curly hairdo... ...yep, before the mohawk hybrid thing.....yeah, it did get called a "Joe-hawk" by some. Okay, okay, enough about his frequently changing hair and fake bake tan! He's a human being! And he tells jokes! I've often wondered if he might be related to Jeff Kerr because he's such a Joe-Kerr. Hey-ohhh!!! The file name on this pic is "Joe-smiley." I think it's a good move to make sure that your caller ID pics are of the person looking genuinely happy, funny, or really smiley. This way when they call, it'll convey how happy they are as they call to talk to you. You should know that Joe and his wife, Jen, have a truly amazing story of how God worked in their lives through an unbelievable series of tragic events, ultimately bringing them to place of hope, restoration, and new life. So this is what I see when someone calls my phone from the church. Since I'm transitioning out of RVC, I won't be seeing this pop up on my phone so much. Originally, this truck hauled all of the equipment for our services to the school where we met when we were still portable. For a while it served like a sign parked out by Pilot Knob Road so that people could realize where the church is. Now it stores skateboard ramps and such for the youth group. Honestly, I'm not sure if this truck still even runs, and it doesn't have the new church logo on it, but it's still serving Jesus. I won't be deleting this picture from my phone just because I'm moving on. It represents part of my history, and part of God's journey for me...a part for which I'm thankful. Rock on, RVC!
